The Cost of Exclusion
Disability inclusion and public services
Description
The Cost of Exclusion examines the experiences of persons living with deafblindness in Uganda, focusing on the consequences of barriers to communication, accessibility and public support. Through the experiences of persons living with deafblindness, the story questions how gaps in services affect their access to information and participation in everyday life. It brings attention to the responsibilities of public institutions and the need for more inclusive systems.
