Women Rooted in Farming

Women Rooted in Farming documents the lives and work of women involved in farming and related agricultural enterprises across Eastern Uganda. Through individual profiles, photographs and interviews, the project explores the women’s experiences, their contributions to food production and household livelihoods, and the challenges they navigate in sustaining their work. The stories place the women at the centre, showing their decisions, responsibilities and ambitions within their own circumstances.
